Pharmaceutical Quality Dextran meets the most stringent quality standards, making it suitable for medical and pharmaceutical uses, life science and biotechnology applications, as well as medical devices. Used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) or excipient, it is supported by comprehensive quality assurance and documentation required for regulatory submissions.

Technical Quality Dextran is a high-purity dextran fraction available in a range of molecular weights, used as a starting or intermediate reagent in various processes within the biotech, photographic, and chemical manufacturing industries.

Dextran Ultra Narrow consists of very narrowly dispersed dextran fractions with a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) below 1.5. All Dextran Ultra fractions are very well characterised. This makes Dextran Ultra Narrow highly suitable for characterisation, complexing and other uses where there are additional requirements for a narrow distribution.

Dextran Standards and GPC Standards are used for molecular weight determination and calibration. Pharmacosmos standards are delivered with a complete set of specifications, including weight average molecular weight (Mw), number average molecular weight (Mn), and mean peak molecular weight (Mp). These standards cover a molecular weight range from 1,000 to 5,400,000 Daltons.
