SBTi-approved targets

Our near-term/ net-zero target has been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This independent validation confirms that our emissions reduction pathway is aligned with the latest climate science and the level of decarbonization required to help limit global warming. It reflects our long-term commitment to responsible manufacturing and supporting more sustainable supply chains for our customers.

Our Sustainability Ambition: Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2045

Our near-term carbon emission targets:

  • Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions by 55% in fiscal year 32/33 versus 22/23 base year

  • Engage at least 67% of scope 3 suppliers (by spend) to have science-based targets by FY29/30*

Our long-term net zero target:

  • Reduce absolute scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions to achieve net zero by 2045**

*Corresponding to approximately 80% of suppliers of purchased goods & services (category 1), upstream transportation (category 4), and business travel (category 6) being covered by a supplier engagement target

**Residual 10% is allowed to be offset
